LORENZON BAY HOUSE

​Located on the raglan coastline, the Lorenzen Bay house is an example of high-end coastal property design. The form flows a slick, modern style that is informed and inspired by its natural surroundings. A unique feature of this design is the stilt-like structure propping the building up. This design decision was made in reference to the existing tree house and also a way to capture the magnificent view of the raglan beach. The materials were specifically chosen to handle these coastal conditions while creating a refined and contemporary expression.
